These pathologies are commonly misdiagnosed, which makes it difficult to establish a specific diagnosis, and leads to an inadequate therapeutic approach. Currently, there are different molecular techniques that facilitate the timely identification of some pathogens, and at the same time offer new treatment and management alternatives. Although, many of these still require more rigorous studies, however, they offer the possibility of developing new ways of approaching the patient.
<keywords/></article-meta></front><body/><back><ref-list><ref id="B1" content-type="article"><label>1</label><element-citation publication-type="journal"><p>Astudillo D, Ulloa J, Ulloa P, 2012, Experiencia Quirurgicadel Servicio de Otorrinolaringologia y Cirugia de Cabeza y Cuello del Hospital Guillermo Grant Benavente Durante el Periodo 2007-2011 (Surgical Experience of the Otorhinolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery Service of the Hospital Guillermo Grant Benavente during the Period 2007-2011).
