Methods:&amp;nbsp;A total of 60 patients with facial psoriasis vulgaris who had complete clinical data and demonstrated high compliance were enrolled as the investigation group, and 60 patients with non-facial psoriasis vulgaris were selected as the control group. The Liebowitz Social Anxiety Scale (LSAS), Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale (HADS), and Dermatology Life Quality Index (DLQI) were employed to assess psychological disorders and quality of life in both groups. Statistical analyses were subsequently performed. Results:&amp;nbsp; The investigation group exhibited significantly higher levels of social anxiety, depression, and anxiety compared with the control group (P&amp;nbsp;&amp;lt; 0.05), and quality of life was more severely impaired in the investigation group (P&amp;nbsp;&amp;lt; 0.05). No significant correlation was observed between overall disease severity and social anxiety, depression, or anxiety levels in the investigation group (P&amp;nbsp;&amp;gt; 0.05). However, facial disease severity was positively correlated with social anxiety, depression, and anxiety levels (P&amp;nbsp;&amp;lt; 0.05), and negatively correlated with quality of life (P&amp;nbsp;&amp;lt; 0.05). Social anxiety, depression, and anxiety levels were negatively correlated with quality of life (P&amp;nbsp;&amp;lt; 0.05). Conclusion: Patients with psoriasis vulgaris involving the facial area are predisposed to psychological disorders and social avoidance, with significant impairment in work and academic performance, as well as diminished quality of life.
<keywords>Face,Psoriasis vulgaris,Social anxiety,Depression,Quality of life</keywords></article-meta></front><body/><back><ref-list><ref id="B1" content-type="article"><label>1</label><element-citation publication-type="journal"><p>[1] Alpsoy E, Polat M, Fettahlıoğlu-Karaman B, et al., 2017, Internalized Stigma in Psoriasis: A Multicenter Study.
