Methods: A total of 150 hospitalized children with common respiratory, digestive, and neurological diseases in pediatrics were selected as study subjects. According to the threshold of nursing quality scores in their respective wards, they were divided into two groups. Univariate analysis was first used to compare differences in observation variables between the two groups, and multivariate logistic regression analysis was then used to screen independent influencing factors of nursing quality. Results: The average nursing quality score of the wards where the 150 children were hospitalized was 86.24 points. Those with scores &amp;ge; 85 were assigned to the high nursing quality group, and those with scores &amp;lt; 85 to the low nursing quality group, with 92 cases in the high-score group and 58 cases in the low-score group. Statistically significant differences were found between the two groups in head nurse management duration, hierarchical training coverage rate, perfection of the risk early warning mechanism, frequency of nurse-patient communication, emergency response time, nurses&amp;rsquo; seniority, and ward bed-to-nursing ratio (p &amp;lt; 0.05). No statistically significant differences were found in age, sex, or disease type (p &amp;gt; 0.05). Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that hierarchical training coverage rate, perfection of the risk early warning mechanism, frequency requirement of nurse-patient communication, emergency response time regulation, and ward bed-to-nursing ratio configuration were independent influencing factors of nursing quality, with statistically significant differences (p &amp;lt; 0.05). Conclusion: Multiple measures related to pediatric head nurse nursing management are major influencing factors of nursing quality. Clinically, head nurse management protocols can be adjusted according to the above factors, and nursing resource allocation can be optimized, thereby improving the overall nursing service level in pediatric wards and providing better nursing services for hospitalized children.
<keywords>Pediatric nursing quality, Head nurse nursing management, Influencing factors, Pediatric ward nursing</keywords></article-meta></front><body/><back><ref-list><ref id="B1" content-type="article"><label>1</label><element-citation publication-type="journal"><p>[1] &amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; Zhang G, 2024, Application of the PDCA Cycle in Nursing Quality Management in Neonatal Wards.
