Methods: A total of 2,421 students from 6 primary and secondary schools in Liangqing District, Nanning City were randomly selected for scoliosis screening and questionnaire survey. Results: A total of 2,421 students were screened, including 1,294 males and 1,127 females. The positive detection rate of scoliosis was 18.4%. The detection rates of scoliosis in male and female students were 19.1% and 17.6% respectively, with no statistically significant difference. The positive rates of scoliosis in children and adolescents of different school levels were: general high school &amp;gt; junior high school &amp;gt; primary school, with statistically significant differences. Among different school levels, the positive detection rates of scoliosis in male and female students: the detection rate of female students in junior high school was the highest at 25.1%, while the detection rate of male students in general high school was the highest at 26.3%, with statistically significant differences. Conclusion: The positive rate of scoliosis among children and adolescents in this area is relatively high.
