Accordingly, researches related to social enterprises are increasing, but studies measuring sustainability are still insufficient. In this study, in order to seek the sustainability and development of social enterprises in the field of literature and arts, a theoretical model for the sustainability of social enterprises in the field of culture and arts was presented. To this end, interviews were conducted with social enterprises in the field of culture and arts, and the results were analyzed to derive the concept and categorization of sustainability of social enterprises in the field of culture and arts. In addition, the integration between the derived categories is illustrated. For a social enterprise in the field of culture and arts to be sustainable, differentiated culture&amp;nbsp; and arts services are important, and each company must constantly strive for its mission and vision, and a differentiated branding strategy unique to companies is required. This research is expected to lay the foundation for empirical research on social enterprises in the culture and arts sector as data for entrepreneurs and prospective entrepreneurs who run social enterprises in the field of culture and arts.
<keywords/></article-meta></front><body/><back><ref-list><ref id="B1" content-type="article"><label>1</label><element-citation publication-type="journal"><p>Han SB, 2017, “Success Factors and Implications of Social Enterprises,” Social Economy and Policy Research, Vol.7, No.1, 115-154.</p><pub-id pub-id-type="doi"/></element-citation></ref><ref id="B2" content-type="article"><label>2</label><element-citation publication-type="journal"><p>Arts Management Support Center, 2015, Survey of Social Enterprises in the Arts and Culture Sector.</p><pub-id pub-id-type="doi"/></element-citation></ref><ref id="B3" content-type="article"><label>3</label><element-citation publication-type="journal"><p>Park JA, Choi MG, and Jung JY, 2016, “Effects of social entrepreneurship, social networks, and government support on the sustainability of social enterprises in the cultural and arts sector,” Commercial Education Research, Vol. 30, No. 6, 75-95.</p><pub-id pub-id-type="doi"/></element-citation></ref><ref id="B4" content-type="article"><label>4</label><element-citation publication-type="journal"><p>Korea Social Enterprise Agency, 2020, Survey on Social Entrepreneur Development Programs.</p><pub-id pub-id-type="doi"/></element-citation></ref><ref id="B5" content-type="article"><label>5</label><element-citation publication-type="journal"><p>Yeon Y, 2018, A Study on Sustainability of Social Economy Organizations in the Culture and Tourism Sector, Korea Culture and Tourism Research Institute.</p><pub-id pub-id-type="doi"/></element-citation></ref><ref id="B6" content-type="article"><label>6</label><element-citation publication-type="journal"><p>Lee Y, Park S, Nam S, and Jung MK, 2012, “A study on sustainable development model of social enterprises through grounded theory,” Korean Journal of Social and Administrative Research, Vol. 22, No. 4, 355-387.</p><pub-id pub-id-type="doi"/></element-citation></ref><ref id="B7" content-type="article"><label>7</label><element-citation publication-type="journal"><p>Kim JS, 2009, “The Role of Social Enterprises in the Cultural Domain,” Administrative Language and Qualitative Research, Vol. 1, No. 1, 97-120.</p><pub-id pub-id-type="doi"/></element-citation></ref><ref id="B8" content-type="article"><label>8</label><element-citation publication-type="journal"><p>Choi Y, 2014, “Analyzing the Success Factors of Social Enterprises in the Cultural Field,” Cultural Contents Research, Vol. 4, No. 4, 7-32.</p><pub-id pub-id-type="doi"/></element-citation></ref><ref id="B9" content-type="article"><label>9</label><element-citation publication-type="journal"><p>Noh TH, 2017, “Sustainability of Social Enterprises: The Case of Play with Culture,” Journal of Arts, Humanities, and Social Convergence Multimedia, Vol. 7, No. 1, 87-95.</p><pub-id pub-id-type="doi"/></element-citation></ref><ref id="B10" content-type="article"><label>10</label><element-citation publication-type="journal"><p>Jang G and Lee H, 2017, “A Case Study of Social Economic Organizations in the Cultural Arts Sector for Creating Jobs for Artists-Centering on Dance, Theater, and Gugak Organizations,” Journal of the Korean Dance Society, Vol. 17, No. 2, 1-14.</p><pub-id pub-id-type="doi"/></element-citation></ref><ref id="B11" content-type="article"><label>11</label><element-citation publication-type="journal"><p>Kwon SB, Jung JY, and Choi MG, 2016, “A Study of the Influencing Factors of Entrepreneurial Intention of Cultural and Social Enterprises,” Journal of Management Education, Vol. 31, No. 5, 259-283.</p><pub-id pub-id-type="doi"/></element-citation></ref><ref id="B12" content-type="article"><label>12</label><element-citation publication-type="journal"><p>Luke B. and Chu V., 2013, “Social enterprise versus social entrepreneurship: An examination of the ‘why’and ‘how’in pursuing social change,” International Small Business Journal, Vol.31, No.7, 764-784.</p><pub-id pub-id-type="doi"/></element-citation></ref><ref id="B13" content-type="article"><label>13</label><element-citation publication-type="journal"><p>DTI, 2002, A strategy for success.
