This paper first briefly expounds the necessity of constructing the evaluation index system of ideological and political education in higher vocational courses, then analyzes the design principles of the evaluation index system of ideological and political education in higher vocational courses, and discusses the optimization strategy of the evaluation index system of ideological and political education in higher vocational courses, in order to provide some reference for the innovation and development of vocational ideological and political education.
