We should closely follow the pace of development of the times, advance with the times, open up and innovate, draw on advanced theory, draw lessons from successful experiences, and actively explore and innovate novel modes and methods of ideological and political work. From the perspective of the new public management theory, this paper focuses on exploring the innovation of ideological and political work and strives to provide some valuable references for ideological and political work in the new era.
