However, there is only a small amount of domestic research that has applied schema theory to oral English teaching. In view of this, based on schema theory, this study analyzes the current situation of oral English teaching and student learning and explores the strategies for applying schema theory to oral English teaching, in the hope that more oral English teachers and learners will use schemata to improve the quality of oral English teaching and learning.
