This paper analyzes the importance of artificial intelligence technology enabling English translation teaching in colleges and universities, analyzes the inherent attributes of artificial intelligence in college English translation teaching, and puts forward some strategies to use translation software to carry out teaching, create English-Chinese translation teaching situations, carry out mixed teaching and integrate diversified translation teaching materials to further improve the quality of English translation teaching in colleges and universities.
