The project-based teaching model has become an important path for the teaching reform of the IoT major by enhancing students’ practical ability, teamwork ability, and innovation awareness. This article analyzes the existing problems in the IoT major in colleges and universities, explores the construction method of the project-based teaching model, and evaluates its effects in improving students’ comprehensive quality, enhancing their employment competitiveness, and promoting teaching reform.
