In the context of the digital-intelligence era, universities are exploring effective ways to apply artificial intelligence technology in teaching, aiming to promote teaching reform and development and provide better educational services for students. Based on this, this paper first analyzes the significance of applying artificial intelligence technology in college English teaching, then elaborates on its specific applications, and finally introduces some safeguard measures to support the effective application of artificial intelligence technology in college English teaching, hoping to provide some reference for peers.
