Based on this, this paper deeply explores the background and significance of integrating curriculum ideological and political education into the electrical automation technology major in higher vocational colleges, the existing problems of curriculum ideological and political education in the electrical automation technology major in higher vocational colleges, and the teaching reform strategies of the electrical automation technology major in higher vocational colleges based on curriculum ideological and political education.
