The application of multimodal theory has provided new theoretical support and practical approaches for College English teaching for art majors. On this basis, this paper briefly analyzes the guiding significance of multimodal theory to College English teaching for art majors and the current situation of College English teaching for art majors, and discusses the teaching reform strategies of College English for art majors from a multimodal perspective, to promote the innovation and development of College English teaching for art majors.
