To sustain the continuous development of the expressway, the service level of the expressway is need to be improved, by ensuring the safety of the people, and by providing more convenient services for the people during travel. The technical measures for scientific maintenance of expressway subgrade and pavement diseases were discussed in this paper. Further, this paper discusses the main subgrade and pavement diseases types, and proposed the targeted maintenance methods, which can be as a reference for the expressway maintenance departments.
