By thoroughly analyzing the historical and cultural value of the Qilou Old Street and its current issues, and considering the opportunities and challenges presented by the free trade port development, the article proposes targeted planning and design strategies in areas such as functional layout, traffic organization, cultural heritage and innovation, and landscape element design.
