Based on clarifying relevant core concepts, this paper analyzes the overall situation and current shortcomings of campus sports culture construction in junior high schools. It proposes a systematic construction path from six aspects: material conditions, institutional guarantees, activity forms, spiritual connotations, home-school cooperation, and the creation of distinctive features, along with corresponding implementation strategies. The aim is to provide scientific and feasible practical references for junior high school physical education teachers and school administrators.
<keywords/></article-meta></front><body/><back><ref-list><ref id="B1" content-type="article"><label>1</label><element-citation publication-type="journal"><p>General Office of the State Council, 2019, Notice on the Issuance of the Outline for Building China into a Leading Sporting Nation, viewed September 10, 2025, https://www.gov.cn/zhengce/content/2019-09/02/content_5426485.htm</p><pub-id pub-id-type="doi"/></element-citation></ref><ref id="B2" content-type="article"><label>2</label><element-citation publication-type="journal"><p>General Administration of Sport of China, Ministry of Education, 2020, Notice on the Opinions on Deepening the Integration of Sports and Education to Promote the Healthy Development of Young People, viewed September 10, 2025, https://www.gov.cn/zhengce/zhengceku/2020-09/21/content_5545112.htm</p><pub-id pub-id-type="doi"/></element-citation></ref><ref id="B3" content-type="article"><label>3</label><element-citation publication-type="journal"><p>Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, State Council, 2019, Opinions on Deepening Education and Teaching Reforms to Comprehensively Improve the Quality of Compulsory Education, viewed September 10, 2025, https://www.gov.cn/zhengce/2019-07/08/content_5407361.htm</p><pub-id pub-id-type="doi"/></element-citation></ref><ref id="B4" content-type="article"><label>4</label><element-citation publication-type="journal"><p>Wu F, 2023, Research on the Impact of the Development of Characteristic Sports Programs in Junior High Schools in Xinyang City on Campus Sports Culture, dissertation, Xinyang Normal University.</p><pub-id pub-id-type="doi"/></element-citation></ref><ref id="B5" content-type="article"><label>5</label><element-citation publication-type="journal"><p>Yin L, 2024, Research on the Tangible Optimization of Campus Sports Culture in Junior High Schools in Hailing District, Taizhou City, dissertation, Nanjing Sport Institute.</p><pub-id pub-id-type="doi"/></element-citation></ref><ref id="B6" content-type="article"><label>6</label><element-citation publication-type="journal"><p>Shen J, 2024, Campus Sports Culture Strategies for Cultivating Sports Ethics among High School Students.
