Based on the STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) education concept and CASES-T (Content, Activity, Situation, Evaluation, Strategy-Target) model, this study provides a theoretical basis for the teaching design and implementation of interdisciplinary thematic learning in middle school physical education.
