However, traditional teaching methods often neglect the role of non-verbal symbols in language comprehension and communication. The multimodal discourse theory provides a new perspective for CSP teaching, which can effectively enhance students’ understanding and mastery of specialized terminology and language application skills by integrating multisensory symbol systems such as language, vision, hearing, and touch.
