Based on an overview of AI technology and an analysis of the current status of Chinese teaching, this study investigates specific empowering pathways such as resource integration and sharing, and personalized learning programs. Through evaluating the improvement of students’ competencies and feedback on teaching effects, it is found that AI has a significant impact on enhancing students’ core competencies in the Chinese subject.
