The construction of science and technology education, as an important force to promote national strategic scientific and technological power, is highly valued by all countries. Three developed countries in science and technology, the United States, Japan, and the United Kingdom, are the main research objects for analyzing their science and technology education. Domestic research on science and technology education mainly focuses on the theoretical and practical research of science and technology education activities. In the future, it is necessary to learn from the experience of foreign countries in the development of science and technology education, explore the localization of science and technology education activities, strengthen the top-level design of science and technology education, and highlight the strategic transformation of the trinity of “education, science and technology, and talents.”
<keywords/></article-meta></front><body/><back><ref-list><ref id="B1" content-type="article"><label>1</label><element-citation publication-type="journal"><p>Gu ZY, 2003, Evaluation of Youth Science and Technology Education and Activities, Shanghai Science and Technology Education Press, Shanghai, 2.</p><pub-id pub-id-type="doi"/></element-citation></ref><ref id="B2" content-type="article"><label>2</label><element-citation publication-type="journal"><p>Yang CL, Di W, 2018, Let Wisdom Grow Creative Curriculum Based on STEAM Concept, Ningbo Publishing House, Ningbo, 6.</p><pub-id pub-id-type="doi"/></element-citation></ref><ref id="B3" content-type="article"><label>3</label><element-citation publication-type="journal"><p>Wang ZW, 2009, The Construction of Science and Technology Education Model in Urban Secondary Schools, Suzhou University, Suzhou.</p><pub-id pub-id-type="doi"/></element-citation></ref><ref id="B4" content-type="article"><label>4</label><element-citation publication-type="journal"><p>Wang H, 2024, Japan Cultivates Scientific and Technological Talents Through Science Competition Activities, viewed March 3, 2025, https://cice.shnu.edu.cn/34/6d/c26051a799853/page.htm</p><pub-id pub-id-type="doi"/></element-citation></ref><ref id="B5" content-type="article"><label>5</label><element-citation publication-type="journal"><p>Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, 2021, Basic Plan for Science and Technology and Basic Plan for Science, Technology and Inclusion, viewed March 5, 2025, https://www8.cao.go.jp/cstp/english/sti_basic_plan.pdf</p><pub-id pub-id-type="doi"/></element-citation></ref><ref id="B6" content-type="article"><label>6</label><element-citation publication-type="journal"><p>Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, 2021, Promotion of “Science as a Policy” (SciREX Project) under the Science and Technology Inclusion Policy, viewed March 6, 2025, https://scirex.grips.ac.jp/en/2022/E-SciREX%20Presentation-Final.pdf</p><pub-id pub-id-type="doi"/></element-citation></ref><ref id="B7" content-type="article"><label>7</label><element-citation publication-type="journal"><p>Zhou DN, 2022, A Study on the Evolutionary Development of Science and Technology in Britain since Modern Times.
