Methods: A total of 316 patients who received the FOLFOX regimen at the Day Chemotherapy Center of our hospital from January to June 2025 were selected as the research subjects. A before-and-after controlled study design was adopted, with 158 patients admitted from January to March 2025 assigned to the control group and another 158 patients admitted from April to June 2025 to the experimental group. The control group received routine home chemotherapy pump nursing, while the experimental group was managed with a standardized nursing process on the basis of routine nursing. Results: The on-time drug infusion rate of the experimental group was 94.30% (149/158), which was significantly higher than 84.18% (133/158) of the control group, with a statistically significant difference (χ2 = 8.62, p &amp;lt; 0.05). The total score of the nursing satisfaction scale [94.4 (89.0, 100.0)] and the satisfaction rate (98.10%) of the experimental group were significantly higher than those of the control group [88.8 (80.0, 100.0), 86.71%], with statistically significant differences (Z = 5.16, p &amp;lt; 0.05). The incidence of adverse events was low in both groups, 3.8% (6/158) in the experimental group and 7.0% (11/158) in the control group, with no statistically significant difference (p &amp;gt; 0.05). Conclusion: The application of the standardized nursing process in the management of continuous infusion via home chemotherapy pumps for day chemotherapy patients can significantly improve the on-time drug infusion rate and patient satisfaction, ensure the safety of home chemotherapy, and thus have clinical promotion value.
<keywords/></article-meta></front><body/><back><ref-list><ref id="B1" content-type="article"><label>1</label><element-citation publication-type="journal"><p>Singh A, 2024, Global Burden of Five Major Types of Gastrointestinal Cancer.
