Postmenopausal asymptomatic endometrial thickening is primarily benign, often involving endometrial polyps. However, previous clinical studies indicate a relatively high malignancy rate for postmenopausal endometrial polyps, suggesting the necessity for active intervention, particularly in cases with high-risk factors for EC.
