The credit bank serves as a critical institutional carrier linking academic education, non-academic training, and lifelong learning. China has completed the construction of basic platforms and pilot promotion for vocational education credits, yet practical operation is still plagued by inconsistent credit recognition standards, security risks of student information and credit data, and cumbersome cross-institutional credit mutual recognition procedures. Featuring distributed ledgers, cryptographic protection, consensus verification, and automatic execution via smart contracts, blockchain technology can target the operational drawbacks of traditional credit banks. On this basis, grounded in the national strategy for digital education development, this paper defines core concepts, sorts out the current status and dilemmas of credit bank construction, and explores the establishment of a blockchain-based digital credit bank system for vocational education students, aiming to provide valuable references for the development of vocational education credit banks.
<keywords/></article-meta></front><body/><back><ref-list><ref id="B1" content-type="article"><label>1</label><element-citation publication-type="journal"><p>Wu D, Cheng Q, Wang L, et al., 2026, Practical Dilemmas and Solutions of Credit Mutual Recognition in Higher Vocational Credit Banks.
