With the advancement of science and technology, engineering surveying technology is also constantly developing, so the theoretical knowledge and professional skills that students need to master are also becoming increasingly complicated. To stimulate the students’ interest in learning the course, it is necessary to continuously introduce innovative teaching methods into the course. In this paper, the importance of teaching innovation in engineering surveying courses of road and bridge engineering technology majors in higher vocational colleges and the knowledge system that students need to master are analyzed.
