Thorough exploration and development of these cultural tourism resources, combined with the creation of a unique cultural tourism identity for this section, can not only invigorate the development of the region’s tourism industry but also contribute significantly to cultural preservation and transmission. This study examines the development and current state of cultural tourism in the Three Gorges of the Yangtze River, focusing specifically on the Yichang section.
