It is built upon theinnovative thinking and values of Confucianism, Taoism, Legalism, Mohism, and other schools of thought. These values have guided and propelled the development of modern science and technology. The spirit of studying diligently andseeking truth from facts from the Confucian culture has stimulated the learning and innovative skills of modern scientificand technological talents. Taoist’s idea of conforming to nature and governing according to the flow has provided newideas and methods for scientific and technological innovation. The legal spirit of Legalism has provided a strong institutional guarantee for the development of science and technology. The spirit of universal love, non-aggression, and unityand cooperation in Mohism has stimulated the vitality of scientific and technological innovation. These innovative spiritshave not only provided ideological guidance and institutional guarantees for the development of science and technologybut also driven the development of modern science and technology.
