This paper analyzes the economic development of China and Japan since the end of World War II in 1945 from the perspective of confidence in the socialist path, providing a comprehensive comparison of the policies and outcomes of the two countries’ economic progress. By examining Japan’s economic development across various post-World War II periods and comparing it with the achievements of China’s economic construction, this study aims to deepen the understanding of China’s confidence in the socialist path.
<keywords/></article-meta></front><body/><back><ref-list><ref id="B1" content-type="article"><label>1</label><element-citation publication-type="journal"><p>Xi Jinping: The Governance of China I, n.d., 2022, People’s Daily, Beijing, 205–206.</p><pub-id pub-id-type="doi"/></element-citation></ref><ref id="B2" content-type="article"><label>2</label><element-citation publication-type="journal"><p>Xi Jinping: The Governance of China III, n.d., 2022, People’s Daily, Beijing, 47–50.</p><pub-id pub-id-type="doi"/></element-citation></ref><ref id="B3" content-type="article"><label>3</label><element-citation publication-type="journal"><p>OECD, 2019, OECD Economic Surveys: Japan 2019, in OECD Economic Outlook Database, 3–10.</p><pub-id pub-id-type="doi"/></element-citation></ref><ref id="B4" content-type="article"><label>4</label><element-citation publication-type="journal"><p>Hoshiro H, 2007, A Japanese Diplomatic Victory? – Japan’s Regionalism and the Politics between Japan, the United States and Southeast Asia, 1965–1966.
