Therefore, in foreign language courses, teachers should help students understand the differences in culture and nonverbal communication specific to the target language, in addition to covering language-related knowledge. This paper outlines the concept of nonverbal communication, analyzes the cross-cultural differences in nonverbal communication, and studies the foreign language teaching strategies based on the cross-cultural differences in nonverbal communication.
