Using databases such as Web of Science and CNKI as data sources, this paper systematically reviews and analyzes research related to the perception of Chongqing’s tourist destination image. The study finds that research on the perception of Chongqing’s tourist image can be summarized into three aspects: attractions and landscapes, cuisine and culture, and tourist attractions. In terms of emotional image, tourists express high satisfaction and strong intentions to revisit on the positive side, while issues such as public facilities and commercialization are perceived negatively.
