Due to their overseas education and professional experience, such talents often differ from domestic faculty in academic interests, research approaches, professional identity, personal pursuits, and values, leading to segmentation and differentiation between groups. Exploring the processes, patterns, and problems of integration for high‑level young returnee talents in universities, and analyzing the phenomena, trends, and pathways of their transition from exclusion to integration, is of great significance for building university faculty and advancing the high‑quality development of higher education.
